You Will Follow The Same Aging Process As Your Mother
The old saying of you can tell how a girl will turn out when she’s older by looking at her mom really is accurate. A U.S. study lately established that daughters do mature and wrinkle like their mothers.
By studying facial imaging and 3D computer modeling, plastic surgeons were able to study the aging process and discovered daughter’s wrinkle patterns are likely to follow their mothers in terms of drooping and volume loss; especially around the lower eyelids, and corners of their eyes.
The study used three-dimensional computer modeling to measure changes in the aging female face. The study examined 10 sets of similar looking mother-daughter pairs aged between 15 and 90 to gauge changes in the aging female face. The mothers had similar skeletal and cellular makeup which allowed researchers to determine the volume loss in the lower eyelid which started when women were in their mid-30s and commenced throughout their life.
Researchers believe that this study’s findings will function as a greater guideline for cosmetic rejuvenation of the eye region. At present, eyelid surgery is one of the most widespread cosmetic procedures used to reduce crow’s feet and sagging around the eyes which makes the face appear much younger.
In 2008 eyelid surgery was the fourth most popular type of cosmetic surgery in the U.S. Some of these procedures were needed because patient’s eyelids were baggy so much that they had a tough time keeping their eyes wide open. But, the majority of patients had the procedure completed with the intent of reducing wrinkles.
Why is it women are expected to be beautiful in every way? It seems that the media and daily life means that women have to remain perfect and good looking or they’re worthless. They use hours and a lot of money on their hair, makeup, skin treatments, waxing, nails, clothing, procedures, and everything else. When did Americans get so concerned about looks?
What happened to aging gracefully? Now you see women that are 65 and seem like they’re 40. Those are the fortunate women but what about those that have had plastic surgery so countless times that they end up looking like a cat and are almost entirely plastic. This is not beautiful and it would have been better to have a few wrinkles rather than some .
Women today are hard-working and have a lot of responsibilities. They work, raise families, involve themselves in their church and community organizations, not to mention many other things. Yet, they must spend time maintaining not only their figures but their beauty. If women want to do these things that’s fine but society has put a lot of emphasis and importance on women’s looks and this is something that shouldn’t be a top priority but it is because otherwise many women don’t feel respected or good looking to not only men but other women.
