How To Look 30% Younger Naturally Without Facial Surgery Or High Priced Dermatologist

April 20th, 2010

Would you like to know how to look 30% younger? You can slow down and even reverse the signs of aging with this Nobel Prize winning secret. This does not require surgery or high priced dermatologists or any big expense. You will not need time off from work or any recovery period. This will reduce lines and wrinkles, add youthfulness and vitality to your face as well as reverse crows feet, redness and reverse age spots.

This secret is based on the study of telomeres known as ” the gatekeepers of aging”. Telomeres are attached to your dna and as your skin cells divide your telomeres get shorter causing your skin cells to age. If there was a way to maintain your telomeres length your skin cells would not show the signs of aging. In fact if you could lengthen your telomeres your skin could actually look 30% younger. Yes, 1/3 younger!

Life extension Dr AL Sears Md has taken this study of telomeres and used it to create a product to shorten and maintain your telomeres. This means that his Revive Cream can extend the lifespan of your skin and avoid the aging of skin giving you a more youthful face.

Here are some results of clinical trials of Revive: Of all those women involved in the trial here is what they saw. increase in the level of moisture in their skin: 100% significant improvement in sunspots: 100% decrease in redness and pore size: over 90% improvement in skin tone and elasticity: 75% roughness and fine lines faded noticeably: 75%

Part of the reason for that wonderful fullness in your skin when you were younger was the presence of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is the stuff that dermatologists use to inject into the skin to get rid of frown lines, smooth out the skin and even plump up the lips. It is so popular because it actually allows your skin to absorb and hold a lot more moisture. This is important because the more water your skin holds the more elasticity it has so the less dryness that leads to wrinkles.

It really gets your skin to absorb more moisture in order to prevent dryness (which can cause wrinkles, and makes the skin more elastic.

Petrolatum In Anti Wrinkle Creams May Be Damaging To Your Health

November 7th, 2009

I’m sure you know that there are hundreds or thousands of anti aging products such as anti aging creams and anti aging moisturizers on the market. Most don’t work very well however there is a more serious worry about many anti aging creams. Lots of them contain chemical ingredients and these can be damaging to your health. A fine example is one petrochemical ingredient called petrolatum.

You probably know about Vaseline. Vaseline is pure petrolatum, and you may also have heard of white petroleum, petroleum jelly, petroleum wax or white petrolatum. These are other names for petrolatum. It is a petrochemical product and this means that it comes from crude oil distillation.

An organisation called the Cosmetic Safety Database tracks these ingredients and if you examine their website you’ll see that petrolatum is linked to cancer as well as contamination problems as well is non-reproductive toxicity. They describe the risk to your health from petrolatum as low to moderate however that is not the only consideration. They describe problems of contamination and it is this that poses the risk to your health. During various manufacturing processes petrolatum can be contaminated with chemicals called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons or what are otherwise known as PAHs. These are considered to be very toxic and linked to a range of health problems including cancer.

There’s many companies making anti aging products such as anti wrinkle creams which do not test for the presence of PAHs in their products and do not list them on the label.

So why is petrolatum used in so many skin care products and anti aging products such as anti wrinkle creams and anti aging moisturizers? There is one simple answer. It’s because petrolatum is incredibly cheap. The cheaper the ingredients you can find for the products the more profit you make. The FDA is not required to test for petrolatum or any other dangerous ingredients such as PAHs and so, because they can, the anti aging companies use them in their products.

The shame is that there are excellent and highly effective natural ingredients which are known to be very effective at improving the health of your skin and which are also extremely safe to use. But they are rarely used because they are much more expensive and reduce profit.

But it is possible to get excellent anti wrinkle creams and other anti aging products which do use these ingredients. These products are safe and highly effective and of course they are also much more expensive to make. They would be uncompetitive to buy because of the price except for one thing. They are not advertised.

For this reason these companies do not advertise their products and rely on word of mouth and a slow organic growth of a solid loyal customer base over time. And also for this reason chances are high that you’ve never heard of the companies, one in particular, that makes these excellent anti aging products.

So there is excellent news. There are highly effective skin care products such as anti wrinkle creams and anti aging moisturisers available to buy if you know where to get them. There is no petrolatum or PAHs in the products or any other chemical or petrochemical ingredients and they are extremely effective.

How To Find Optimum Skin Care To Reduce Wrinkles

August 29th, 2009

If great skin care to reduce wrinkles is of interest to you then keep reading. There really are breakthroughs in modern skin science that mean that there are products now available that work to combat wrinkles.

As women get older they start to understand why their mothers were interested in anti aging skin care when they were older. They start to see the formation of wrinkles, they begin to find sagging skin under their neck, lines around their mouth and around their eyes.

One of the major reasons for all these signs of aging of the dermis is the loss of collagen and elastin with age. The skin produces elastin and collagen but as it ages it’s ability to do so reduces, and gradually the stores of collagen and elastin reduce and this is seen particularly on your face. As you lose stores of collagen and elastin you lose skin elasticity and it’s this elasticity that helps fight wrinkles and sagging.

And there’s a way to see elasticity at work in your skin. Pinch a piece of skin and pull and let go and, if you’re young, it will snap back into place. If you’re older it will sag back slowly, because your skin elasticity is reduced.

That’s elasticity at work and one of the biggest goals of good anti aging products is to improve elasticity in the dermis. And that’s done by replacing lost elastin and collagen.

The way it’s been done traditionally is to put collagen and elastin in the bottles. But there’s a problem with this. Science has known for some time that the molecule size of these proteins is too large to penetrate the skin, so putting them in the bottles does nothing.

So why are they still put in the bottles? Because it’s a great way to sell lots of bottles because women buy skin care products with collagen and elastin listed on the label.

So if putting them in the bottles doesn’t work how do you combat wrinkles? You still do it by increasing skin elasticity.

One skin care company at the forefront of the cutting edge of skin care research has found a way to stimulate the skin to produce more elastin and collagen itself. It does so by using ingredients in it’s products that actually prompt the skin to start producing collagen and elastin in greater quantities. Ingredients like Phytessence Wakame, a Japanese seaweed that is known for it’s properties to promote skin health and one of the major reasons why Japanese women have such wrinkle free skin.

And also a patented ingredient that uses ingredients from the wool of sheep. Both of these, combined with other ingredients, are the way to increase skin protein and thereby skin elasticity by products that optimize skin care. Wrinkles, in studies, have been shown to visibly reduce in as little as 2 months.

Good healthy skin and minimum wrinkles is all about good skin elasticity. That’s how you optimize skin care. Wrinkles really do respond to good skin care and improved skin elasticity.

If you visit my website you’ll find out more about combating wrinkles using products that promote improved skin elasticity.

Wrinkle Creams, A Brief History

August 13th, 2009

Over the past 30 years there have been a number of attempts by the cosmetic industry to produce a cream that would diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Most famously Oil of Olay. Thing have definitely advanced since then.

There have been a number of huge breakthroughs in the cosmetic industry since the late 1980s. With these advances we have seen a massive influx of wrinkle cream products, some of which really do reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. However, not all products are created equal, so you will have to do a little research before you buy one.

Research can be as easy as visiting your local magazine store and picking up a few beauty magazines. Most wrinkle cream information you can find in there, or you can visit your local library and there will be back issues of all kinds of beauty magazines so you don’t have to buy anything for your research. Also the library has internet access so you can do all kinds of searches for wrinkle cream on the world wide web.

If you decide to use the internet as you research tool you can type in almost anything skin care related to find news and reviews. Some of the best searches are: Wrinkle Cream, Skin Care, Best Wrinkle Cream and even Wrinkle Cream Review.

One of the biggest things people worry about when it comes to wrinkle creams is the use of parabens. However, there has never been a reported illness related to this common ingredient, and it is used in all sorts of household items. Some of these items include toothpaste, deodorant and most make up products.

Your appearance is an extremely important element of your life. It is not vain or self-centered to want to look good. This is why wrinkle creams are so increasingly popular, and they are a great alternative to painful cosmetic injections.

So how do you know if the wrinkle cream has worked on not? Do you take before and after pictures? Ask your friends, or can you just notice for yourself? Of course you will notice the changes going on daily because you look at yourself everyday, but the best way is to use the wrinkle cream for at least 1 month and then purposely plan to see someone that you have not seen in awhile. They will notice the change when they see you and then you will have your confirmation that the cream has done what it said it would do and you have not wasted your hard earned money.

Once you see the power of a good wrinkle cream, especially those found exclusively on the internet you will be pleasantly surprised at the scientific advancements in cosmetics. Wrinkle creams such as Avotone and Revitol are far superior to your grandparents Oil of Olay.
